I am leading a team to set a new strategic sales plan and ways of working for the European sales director and his team. The company has been performing well for many years, but they realize there will be future challenges in the market following a series of investments by their competitors. Together we are developing methods and procedures to identify, target and approach the right type of customers with the best suitable offers, with an overall objective to maximize profit and improve sales efficiency. The main challenge for us, as in most strategy related work, is to make sure the management team and organization buy into the new direction and believe in the strategic plan that will address the challenges going forward.
